So I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Divergent red carpet premiere in Dallas TX. I got to meet Jai Courtney (Eric) and Miles Teller (Peter). There were tons of people but I had a blast! I got to meet a bunch of different girls who loved the same book so that was fun. I even went as far as to give myself fake tattoos and wear all black (Which was pretty easy considering half of my wardrobe is that). Both Jai and Miles were incredibly sweet. I was able to get my poster signed by both and just have like a 5 second chat with them XD lol. I'm almost absolutely sure that Miles signed everyone's posters. Thankfully we were all looking out for one another so people were getting things signed and passing it back so everyone had a chance to get something.

I was also lucky enough to see the movie. Though of course, the book was better, the movie was pretty darn good. Hans Zimmer was amazing with the score. I'm a big fan of his work so I was overjoyed to hear he would be doing it. Also, it's a dystopia movie without it being shot or done like a dystopia movie. Like, we all are aware that The Hunger Games is set in the future but the main point isn't focused on that but the characters. What's different with Divergent is Veronica focuses a bit more on the futuristic part as well as the story and characters so to me, it was like I was watching a Sci-Fi/Dystopia movie. They did a great job at showing off all the futuristic things and as far as it was 'shot', well.. If you aren't as much as in too movie production as I am (my dad worked in television for a very long time) then let me explain. All movies are shot a certain way, like action packed movie's have a lot of different angles and shots bouncing back to one another, specially during the fighting scenes. dramatic romantic movies tend to have tight shots of someone's face or a wide shot of a scene and ETC. so it suprised me when there was a more modern twist on the Divergent movie and the way it was shot & done. Overall it was pretty good.

Hope you guys check it out!
